If you’re tempted to compare your kids to other kids

May 3, 2018

We all do it. Whether we mean to or not, we notice other kids—their abilities, their accomplishments, their challenges—and we can’t help but measure our own kids against them. Sometimes our kids come up short, sometimes our kids look like geniuses. Either way, comparison is no good for anybody.

Today on For the Family, I’m sharing an excerpt from my new book, Generous Love, about a different approach to viewing other kids—or anyone else we interact with. And this approach, this other choice, is much closer to God’s design for us as Christians.

Blessings,
Becky

Yes, I want in!

Meet Becky.

If you love your kids but you sometimes forget to feed them lunch, if you're crazy about your husband but some days you want to set his hunting gear on fire, and if you adore Jesus with your whole heart yet you mess up time and time again, then you and I are friends already.

We need each other. I'm so glad you're here.
