Last night my daughter asked to watch a movie on Hulu. It’s one we hadn’t seen before, so immediately my mom-monitor kicked in.
Is the content appropriate? What words will we hear? Is there going to be a lot of boyfriend-girlfriend stuff? Will this movie strip her innocence and scar her for life???
Uh, it was rated G, so probably not. But can you relate to the struggle?
I’m not the kind of parent to prohibit technology and screen time as though all media is evil. But I am a huge advocate for teaching kids to use it well. Today on For the Family, I’m sharing my steps for teaching kids to watch TV wisely—and with a godly heart. Join me there!
