You know the nursery rhyme that asks, What are little boys made of? Snips and snails and puppy dog tails. Funny, right? I have nephews; I suppose this is somewhat true—in an endearing sort of way.
But let me tell you that as a mom of daughters, I happen to know the rest of that rhyme lies. Little girls are not made entirely of sugar and spice and all things nice. If they were, I wouldn’t be a writer.
Today on The Better Mom, we’re busting the excuse that girls are just made to be catty, boy crazy, moody and so on. If you’ve ever assumed “girls will be girls” and there’s nothing you can do to change their unlovely behavior, then this post is for you. Join me there!
Blessings,
Becky
