This past week, I chauffeured two kids to and from school, AWANA, karate and the orthodontist. I chaperoned a field trip and volunteered in the classroom. I launched a coaching program, attended lunch meetings, coffee meetings, and cranked out article after article for my freelance writing business. Then I helped with homework and piano practice while my husband worked late, and most days I managed to get everybody fed and bathed and into bed before 8 p.m.—at which point I did my Bible study reading, folded laundry, or attended a virtual training session for one of my many work endeavors.
Busy? Sure. Who isn’t, right? Yet oddly, this kind of schedule no longer burns me out. Want to know why? Join me for this week’s devotion today on For the Family, where I’m sharing a little insight on how to be Mary and Martha at the same time. See you there!
Blessings,
Becky
