As my daughters grow and change, I’m discovering that how I interact with them needs to grow and change accordingly. There’s less “do this, don’t do that” and more “what do you think needs to be done here?”
In the process of empowering my children to take ownership of their decisions and faith, however, one thing holds firm: they need to know they are treasured.
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” (Ephesians 2:10, NLT)
Today on For the Family, I’m sharing my thoughts on how we can show our tween daughters (and sons!) they are valued. Join me there!
Blessings,
Becky
