Remember when the kids were small, and Christmas fun was simpler? All it took was a Little People nativity set and a set of construction paper countdown rings to entertain the littles throughout the month. {If you’re still in that season of parenting, don’t shoot me. I remember the hard stuff, too. Hugs to you, sister. It gets easier in so many ways.}
Now that my girls are tweens, however, engaging them in Christmas activities is a little more complex. Better in many ways, yes, because they can actually join me in all my favorite to-do’s like the baking and shopping and assembling the grown-up nativity set that we love so much. Yet as their interests have grown far beyond Little People, Mom needs to be intentional about keeping up.
Today on The Better Mom, I’m sharing five of my favorite Christmas traditions for tweens, and how to make the most of them. I hope you’ll join me there!
Merry merry,
Becky
